Interview and writing projects

As one of SRP’s important exporters, the collection and writing project strives to deliver a peaceful and powerful voice in an objective and idealistic, rational and warm language. Our priority is to interview and write, here you can open your own column for the creation of unlimited, can direct contact with more domestic and foreign outstanding organization in social responsibility field and its head, and communication with them in the first place, we are looking forward to find a responsible, deep thinking, has the social mood of you!!

Our interviewees come from international organizations, ngos and enterprises all over the world, for example:

Position Information

Manage the whole interview and writing project, design and plan the direction and content of the project, and support the project to move towards sustainable. 

Job Responsibilities

1) Join SRP secretariat to develop project strategy, overall direction and objectives, and be responsible for project planning and optimization iterations;

2) Carry out project management and coordinate the operation and promotion of all project departments;

3) Keep in touch with the person in charge of each department of the project, interview with the person in charge regularly, help solve difficulties and break bottlenecks;

4) External communication and cooperation, integration of resources, docking and contact with SRP consultants, mentors and partners;

5) Volunteer coordination and management, data research and analysis, assist in project team building, training and meetings, create a good working atmosphere within the project, strengthen team cohesion and members’ sense of belonging;

6) Support to complete other SRP project management tasks.

Job Requirements

1) Bachelor degree or above, major in sociology, psychology, journalism, communication, social work or related is preferred;

2) At least 1 year working experience in public service or volunteer service;

3) Volunteer in public welfare, with feelings of social work, strict sense of confidentiality and empathy;

4) Strong sense of responsibility and initiative, take the initiative to find problems and design solutions to push the business to a new direction;

5) Have strong project planning, process control and management ability, rich creativity and high execution ability, and have comprehensive project planning and management ability;

6) Excellent ability of cooperation and development and resource integration;

7) Experience in planning and organizing large-scale events or projects, rich experience in platform construction and team management is preferred;

8) Candidates who can work for more than 12 months are preferred (welcome Gap year partners!)

Chinese Journalist

Job Responsibilities

1) Seek the target interviewees or choose some objects from SRP interview list;

2) Write biographical article with topic of Chinese SDG-related interview; 

3) Cooperate with editors to revise the article until it reaches the publication standard;

4) Proofread other articles;

5) If there is no interested interviewee, the journalist could write analytical articles on hot current affairs.

Job Requirements

1) Experience in SDG or related topics is required, and interview/ writing experience preferred;

2) Interested in Interview and better with personal insights on specific topics;

3) With strong sense of responsibility, time control and commnication ability;

4) Submit personal resume and at least one piece of personal works.( For team works, the written paragraghs need to be remarked.)

Chinese Columnist

Job Responsibilities

1) Select topics independently and write SDG topic column articles and articles of hot current affairs analysis;

2) Cooperate with editors to revise the article until it reaches the publication standard;

3) Excellent columnists can open their own columns and update regularly.

Job Requirements

1) Experience in SDG or related topics is required, and journalism/ writing experience preferred;

2) Sensitive in news and better with personal insights on specific topics;

3) With strong responsibility, time conscious and commnication ability;

4) Submit personal resume and at least one piece of personal works.( For team works, the written paragraghs need to be remarked.)

English Journalist

Job Responsibilities

1) Independently choose topics for English SDG related newsletter, interview, SRP affair and hot current affairs analysis article writings;

2) Cooperate with editors to revise the article until it reaches the publication standard, and join in the first draft editing work of other articles.

Job Requirements

1) Qualified with TOEFL 100 or above, IELTS 7 or above, CET-6 520 or above. Overseas study experience preferred;

2) English writing experience required, and journalism/ writing experience preferred;

3) Sensitive to journalism, familiar with overseas media style and writing requirements. With strong responsibility, time conscious and communication ability;

4) Submit personal resume and two pieces of writing sample within 5 pages in total.

English Columnist

Job Requirements

English Editor

Job Responsibilities

1) Responsible for articles’ second-round editing and auditing in Interview and Writing Project-English Office;

2) Revise the article grammer, style, contents and structure/ logic, and assist the author to finish the article with high quality;

3) Communicate with autor and first-round editor to coordiante the process of article writing and editing.

Job Requirements

1) Qualified with TOEFL 100 or above, IELTS 7 or above, CET-6 520 or above. Overseas study experience preferred, and English news writing/editing experience required;

2) Sensitive to journalism, familiar with overseas media style and writing requirements. With strong sense of responsibility, time control and communication ability;

3) Submit personal resume and 2 to 3 pieces of writing sample within 8 pages in total.

Outreach Assistant

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for all affairs related to the external communication of English Office in Interview and Writing Project, including but not limited to:

1) Develop cooperation relationship with foreign universities’ Students’ Federation, SDG related Associations or youth organizations. Expand coverage of overseas readers and offer channels for overseas recruitment;

2) According to the needs of English Office, search for suitable interviewees, contact the founders or current directors of the international organizations and NGOs at home and aboard;

3) Collate the information of SRP’s existing interviewees, regularly update their needs, and maintain friendly and cooperative relations;

4) Finish other work assigned by the leader.

Job Requirements

1) Fluent in Chinese and English, strong communication skills, familiar with foreign communication techniques, extra foreign language skills preferred;

2) Pay close attention to international news and hace knowledge of NGO in various fields;

3) Be willing to communicate with others, with strong sense of responsibilities for the team;

4) With strong strain capacity,and be able to deal with emergencies independently, and possess anticipation awareness to various conditions;

5) Excellent communication ability to perceive other’s feelings( Public relations, business development or outreach related experience preferred);

6) Possessing international organizations, NGOs, multinational enterprises, universities and other strong network resources is an advantage.

Outreach Associate

1) Seek suitable interviewees and make a liaision plan according to the demand of Interview and Writing Project;

2) Cooperate with other departments in this project and design new interview and writing columns;

Job Requirements

1) Outgoing and willing to communicate with others. English communication ability is an advantage;

2) Be a patient, meticulous teamworker;

1) Participate in the construction of team atmosphere and culture in the Interview and Writing Projects, provide innovated ideas for management;

2) Have a comprehensive understanding of Interview and Writing Project and SRP’s overall strategy and members, and assist in strategic adjustment of Interview and Writing Project;

3) Assist team members to have regular one-on-one conversations;

4) Assist team members to have regular one-on-one conversations;

5) Coordinate the work of various departments.

-Member Performance Management and Recruitment

1) Participate in the daily work of each office and regularly check the activity of members in each office;

2) Jointly study and formulate performance and reward systems for members;

3) Responsible for recruitment, including recruitment strategy formulation, information collection, email contact, preliminary resume screening and recruitment summary, etc.

4) Organize and update members’ information files.

Senior Administrative Assistant

The Number

Job Responsibilities

1)Draft relevant documents of SRP departments and overall administrative affairs, including but not limited to: department manual, year-end summary, external introduction, etc.;

2) Assist the head of The Chinese Office and the head of the Internal Construction Team of The Office of General Affairs to efficiently complete the preliminary content arrangement of regular meetings and roundtable meetings according to the requirements of the Interview and Writing Project;

3) According to the requirements of Interview and Writing Project, assist the general manager of The Chinese and English Office and the general manager of the administrative group to efficiently complete the preparation of the preliminary content of regular meetings and table meetings, make the meeting agenda and book the Tencent conference room/ZOOM meeting, and publish them in the large chatting group in advance;

4) Assist the head of The Chinese Office and the head of the Internal Construction Team of the General Office to prepare and host regular meetings and round table meetings;

5) Record the screen during the meeting, write the meeting minutes in ShiMoWenDang(石墨文档), and release them to the writing group after the meeting; After the meeting, keep in touch with all the partners of the project, and get to know the content/form feedback of the meeting through the questionnaire.

6) Complete other administration-related tasks assigned by the leader.

Job Requirements

1) Experience in conference/assistance is preferred;

2) Work with high efficiency, limited task load, but need to complete as soon as possible;

Senior Community Assistant

The Number

Job Responsibilities

1) Maintain effective communication with all partners in the project, and regularly  collect the recent opinions/ideas/feedback of the Interview and Writing members;

2) Have a strong desire to share, pay attention to and collect high-quality articles and Wechat push, collection and writing skills tips (you can make friends in the local group and share,  and can also search for relevant articles), current hot news, share and forward in the Interview and Writing chatting group, for everyone to learn and exchange, frequency is not required daily, 2-3 times a week is enough;

3) Responsible for the online community operation and user maintenance of SRP Interview and Writing Project, and maintain the community activity;

4)Complete other daily work assigned by the leader.

Job Requirements

1) Strong desire to share and ability to communicate;

2) Have a certain ability to identify articles, sensitive to hot current events, can collect more hot, interesting, high-quality articles;

3)Having experience with community operation/maintenance is preferred;

4) Sense of responsibility, time control, high efficiency;
